What data we collect and why
Contact form, property valuation and listing enquiry form: we collect your name, email or phone number, your message and, where relevant, the property details you provide (address, size, type). We use this to reply to you and handle your request: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), not consent.
“Work with us” and “Franchise” forms: we collect your name, email, phone number, message and, for applications, your preferred office. This processing is based on the consent you give by ticking the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
IP address: automatically recorded whenever you submit any of the site’s forms, for security and abuse-prevention purposes (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Address entered in the valuation calculator: sent to the Mapbox geocoding service to identify the relevant market area (see “Who we share your data with”).
Who we share your data with
GestionaleImmobiliare.it: requests collected through the contact, valuation and property enquiry forms are passed to our real estate management platform, which processes them as our data processor to handle the transaction.
Mapbox Inc.: addresses entered in the valuation calculator are sent to Mapbox, based in the United States, solely for geocoding. This transfer outside the EU takes place under the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
Contact, valuation and property enquiry requests are deleted from our systems 180 days after being handed over to our management platform.
Job applications and franchise requests are kept for 365 days from submission.
The IP address linked to a request follows the same retention period as the rest of that request’s data.
What we don’t do
This site does not set profiling or marketing cookies.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or browsing-tracking tools. See the Cookie Policy for the few technical services we do use.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing (including processing based on legitimate interest) at any time, by writing to info@jbcimmobiliare.it.
If you believe our processing of your data breaches the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
